So as per a special fan request– this blog is my answer to the question, “How did you get into porn?”.  My guess is that most adult performers have a different answer, and are asked this very question pretty often. After all, smutty entertainment is a taboo career move and a curious decision to make… What’s a girl like you doing in an industry like this? Right? For me it wasn’t quite a pornographic epiphany– but I certainly made the choice at one point. So for the best break down we should probably start in the beginning… Once upon a time…

When I was in high school, roughly my Freshman/Sophomore year, I met an older friend who was a photography major in a Philly art school. She was developing her final thesis and needed a young model for the photos she’d been planning based on an “Eve in the Garden of Eden” concept. Incidentally growing up my Mom always kept pet snakes… So our unusual pets and my willingness to try out modeling made me the perfect candidate for her shoot. I had never modeled before in my life, and of course there were no clothes in the Garden of Eden– so my very first photo shoot was also a nude one. I loved the photos she’d taken and I continued working with her and other friends on eclectic projects. I tried fashion shoots, artistic nudes, conceptual shoots, glam nudes, and implied projects… I loved the nude work I was doing but because I wasn’t 18 at the time, I had to gain parental consent for each shoot I did with more than just implied nudity… I still wanted to shoot so I practiced some raunchy shoots with my boyfriend at the time, making home made porno and taking sexy erotic pics when our parents weren’t home…

Eventually I went to Art School and took on a Fine Arts major. I met tons of new photographers both amateur and professional through gallery openings my school hosted.. I had the chance to start modeling on professional sets and shooting with other models. Freshly 18 years old I was able to try out more explicit nudes… I LOVED IT! I had no idea going to art school would actually help prepare me for a career in adult! I started honing in on more fetish and kink, taking on new projects, networking with other models. Nude calendars, pin-up style shoots, foot fetish work, and I even did a bikini wrestling video lol… I had plenty of experience in front of the camera but my only true Adult work had been in the privacy of my own bedroom… Through the Adult Industry grapevine I met Sean Adamz and we discussed an exclusive modeling contract for the AltPorn Network. Really I had made the decision to work in Porn long before I was ever asked to… It was kind of an idea that just unraveled over a few years, & finally when the chance came to take the plunge– I felt like I already had.  So that’s the long-short version of my decision to take on a career in adult entertainment… That’s my story, and I’m stickin’ to it!
