Stuffing My Face
While writing about my kinky kitchen bj’s yesterday– I began contemplating my connections between food and sex. I think it can be deduced that I have associated the two on more than one occasion, but why? Could it be the age old saying that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach? Perhaps my notorious oral fixation? Or something much more??? Well from an Anthropological perspective there are countless links between provisions and seduction. For example, we all know the praying mantis has the unique practice of getting in on followed by the female consuming the male insect, and to a lesser extent most other species copulate and the male will bring the female little offerings of food or use it as bait to lure her… Some cultures revere a Bride’s ability to cook as more important than her virginity. Even in language we use terms like satisfaction, and tender which can be used to describe sex and your dinner. If you ask me, all of these elements add up to one very compelling appetite! It’s interesting to think about all of these links and subconscious desires– and while I can understand the urge to slather dessert toppings all over a nice perky rack– I think I’ll be keeping my escapades out of the fridge and more on the kitchen floor!
